Black Diamond  is a beauty to look at and golfer’s dream of becoming a pro at this course. There are death-defying drops along the side of canyons and altitude sickness inclines as you peak to make it on par for the whole that you are playing. Mastering this course can be very addicting so you need to be on top of your game while playing any of the three courses available. With a total of 45 holes to play at this course, it too will keep you busy as well as the other courses in our area. The courses are called the Ranch, The Quarry, and the Highlands. Black Diamond does offer a golf pro shop and a restaurant. You can make tee times up to seven days in advance by calling the pro shop at 1-352-746-4000.

Black Diamond is located not too far from Van der Valk. Take a right out of Lakeside and continue US 41 North until you get into Hernando about 2 miles. Take a left onto County Road 486 E Norvell Bryant Highway) and continue for about 3 miles. Take a right when you see County Road 491 (N Lecanto Highway). Continue for about 1 and ½ mile and you will see the entrance to Black Diamond on your left.
