Adventurers are welcomed to Lakeside Golf & Country Club to practice their skills at this course. Dog legs, pine trees, and lakes are not enough for you? Then how about 51 sand traps strategically placed in places you don’t want them to be at and the hills are another task you will have to master at the same time. But something that you may not know is that you will be playing around an abandoned phosphate mine, making it an unusual layout and not typical of most Florida courses.
The 18-hole course features 6,475 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.1 and it has a slope rating of 127. Designed by Bill Campbell, the LakeSide golf course opened in 1979. They offer a pro shop with a lot of golf accessories, our Van der Valk restaurant is just to the left of the clubhouse, a driving range and a practice green. Other amenities include bathrooms for men and women, a locker room, and showers.
This golf course is included in Van der Valk fabulous unlimited free green fees, however cart fees are not included and cart fees change according to the season and can vary from $15 to $18.
