Imagine a picturesque scene right near a lake with golfer playing to the best of their abilities. Narrow tree lined fairways and postage stamp greens make Miona Lake a challenge to test golfers of all levels with the three levels offered at their course. Oh and did I mention the lakes? They practically follow you around everywhere you go. Don’t hit a golf ball in one of the many lakes or otherwise you may regret it! Miona Lake does offer a pro shop that is said to be well stocked, the 19th Hole restaurant and bar as well as a driving range.
This golf course is included in Van der Valk fabulous unlimited free green fees, however cart fees are not included and cart fees change according to the season and can vary from $15 to $18. Miona Lake is a little less than an hour away from Lakeside. You go out of Lakeside and take a left. You will be heading south on US Highway 41. Continue to State Road 44 about three miles. Take a left at State Road 44 E. Merges with US Highway 41. Continue on State Road 44 and US Highway 41 for about 1 mile and take a left when State Road 44 and US Highway 41 split. You will be heading east on State Road 44. Stay on State Road 44 for about 19 miles. You will see junction US Highway 301 about 4 miles past interstate 75. At US Highway 301, you will take a left and travel north for about 4 miles. You will see a four way stop light at the intersection of US Highway 301 and County Road 114. Take a right and continue for 1 mile. Look for County Road 121 and take a right. Continue down this road for two tenths (.2) mile. Look for County Road 122 and take a left. About one half (1/2) mile down on the right will be Miona Lake.
