You’ve gone out on the boat, and you’re as tan—or as pink—as you want to be for today. Why not head into a nice cool museum for a different kind of entertainment? Visit The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum. Built in 1912 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Old Courthouse is a priceless part of Citrus County's heritage. The displays and artwork rotate throughout the year.

What to see in the Old Court House?
In 1912, the Old Court House reopened. Then in 2000 the courthouse was restored. The museum focuses on the history and heritage of County Cirtus. In the museum there is also a museum shop where you can buy different this from this area.
You surely remember the movie “Follow That Dream” with Elvis Presley in the lead. This film is set in 1961 in the Old Courthouse. The museum has also a lot of information about this special event.
