Situated in the eastern portion of Marion County in a serene area, Silver Springs Shores offers 6,857 yards of golf and is a long par 72. The magnitude 1 spring of this area is a delight to anyone's eyes when they venture across this land of beauty. Featuring a classic rustic look, any golfer is sure to love what this area has to offer its golfers, which is peace and quiet, as they attempt to master the tricky greens of this course. This course opened up in 1969 and currently offers a golf shop with all the essential accessories for golfing and then some and a restaurant.

Silver Springs is about 1 hour drive time away from Van der Valk. Go out of Lakeside and take a right onto US Highway 41. You will be heading north. Continue in to the town of Hernando (about two miles) and go merge right onto State Road 200. Continue on State Road 200 for almost 24 miles. Continue you straight on State Road 464 for about 11 miles. You will turn left onto Water Road and continue to the end of the road. Take a left at this point and you will be on Spring Lake Road. Continue until the end of the road. You will take a left onto Silver Road. Silver Springs Golf and Country Club will be on your left.
