Those without the need for speed will tell you one of the best ways to enjoy the state's waterways is completely motor free. Aboard a trusty inner tube or other floating device, with the current doing all the work. During your float, all you do is sit back and relax!

The Rainbow River is formed by a first magnitude spring that is ranked fourth in the state for volume of discharge. The Rainbow River is a gently winding river that is 5.7 miles long and merges with the Withlacoochee River at Dunnellon Florida. They crystal clear water, abundant with fish, wildlife and vegetation has attracted a number of modern day activities, including the spectacular river tubing. On a hot summer day, hundreds of tubers hit this river, which is always a nice 72 degrees.
