Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park is a showcase for Florida’s native wildlife in a natural setting of woods and wetlands. Visitors often have a excellent opportunity to observe native animals birds, and plants in their natural setting. Walk along a naturally beautiful boardwalk and view many Florida’s species such as cougars, bears, white-tailed deer, bobcats, otters and foxes. Also the wildlife park does educational programs offered daily on West Indian manatees and Wildlife Encounters featuring alligators, birds of prey, and Florida snakes. Pontoon boats run from the Visitor Center to the wildlife park, weather permitting.
