What Time Is Check-In / Check-Out?

Check-Out: 10 AM

Check-In is in our office at 1601 N Florida Avenue, Hernando, FL 34442. For after hours, the key to your vacation rental is in the lockbox next to the front door of the office.

Early Check-In and Late Check-Out requests can be made 2 days before arrival. Please call 352-637-1140 or email the front desk at info@valkusa.com.

What Is The Cancellation Policy?

We understand that plans can change, so we offer a flexible rental cancellation policy:

100% refund up to 60 days before arrival
50% refund up to 30 days before arrival

Unfortunately, cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.

We recommend all guests purchase cancellation insurance.

What Basic Supplies Do You Provide For Our Stay?

Our goal is to provide you with enough basic items to get you started for your stay:

Travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bars of hand soap
1st Morning Coffee
Toilet paper
1 roll of paper towels
2 laundry detergent pod
Kitchen trash bags
Hand-soap
2 dishwasher tablets
Dish detergent and rags

What Linens Are Provided?

We provide all bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen linens and towels!
Our beds are cleanly made with a sheet set, duvet, and pillows.
Bathrooms are stocked with plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths
Kitchen drying towels and cleaning rags are provided

What Does "Fully Stocked Kitchen" Mean?

All basic kitchen items
Coffee maker
Dinnerware/drinkware
Utensils/flatware
Baking pans/sheets
Pots and pans

We do not provide grocery items and seasonings. Please bring your own seasonings, groceries, and coffee!

Is BBQ/Gas Grill Available?

You can book a gas grill when making a reservation or at check-in. We will make sure that the grill will be delivered to your vacation rental; propane tank is included.

Are Pets Allowed?

We have properties that are pet-friendly with a non-refundable $100 pet fee.

We enforce a strict no-pet policy on our other vacation rentals. We love animals, but unfortunately we have had some issues in the past with guests and owners having allergic reactions, which is why we only have a few pet-friendly rentals.

Do You Offer Discounts?

We only offer discounts to our repeat/returning guests, 28+ day stays, and to our military personnel. Please send us an email to info@valkusa.com to let us know if you have stayed with us before or if you think you qualify for our military discount.

How Do I Get the Best Deal When Booking Through www.valkusa.com?

By booking directly through our website www.valkusa.com, you are automatically going to get the best deal for our properties because you will save the Online Travel Agency fees that Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com charge.

What House Rules Should I Know About?

While every property may have slightly different house rules based on its unique nature, here are some general guidelines we ask all guests to follow:

Minimum Age Requirement: The primary guest must be 21 years of age or older. The person who made the reservation must be present at check-in, or must provide prior authorization if someone else in their party will check in.
Cleanliness: Guests are expected to leave the property in a clean, tidy, and respectful condition upon departure.
No Smoking or Parties: Smoking and parties are strictly prohibited at all properties — no exceptions.
Pets: Some of our vacation rentals are pet-friendly, while others are not. Please review the specific listing details before bringing a pet.
Guest Limit: Only the number of guests listed on the reservation are permitted to stay at the property.
Parking: A maximum of three (3) vehicles is allowed per property.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily.
Furniture: Please do not move furniture within the home.
Rental Agreement: Guests will be required to sign a rental agreement and provide details about their stay prior to arrival.
